These mounts work with both 2WD and 4WD vehicles that have frame rail widths up to 28.75 inches. Each bracket can be positioned upward or downward to help you find the ideal engine location. While originally designed for 4x4 owners, these mounts are perfect for anyone planning to upgrade their stock engine to a more powerful option.
Motor Mounts for SBC Conversions
This kit provides a complete solution for anyone installing motor mounts for 350 Chevy engines or similar small block powerplants. Each kit includes two engine-side mounts built from 3/16-inch steel and two gusseted weld-in frame mounts made from quarter-inch steel for outstanding strength. A rubber mount kit is included to absorb vibration and impacts, helping your vehicle maintain a smooth, stable ride. For wider frames, place the rubber mounts on the outer slots, and use the inner slots for narrower frames.
The brackets require welding for final installation, but they can be temporarily bolted in place to assist with fitment or for transporting the vehicle to a welding shop. A complete bolt kit is included for this purpose. If your vehicle has an open channel frame, the rail should be boxed before mounting the brackets. The slotted design provides side-to-side adjustment, and the slide lock tab secures the engine position once you have selected the correct placement.
