This bracket is for use with the NV4500 5 speed transmission when adapting them to a Toyota Land Cruiser 4 speed transfer case. The bracket will provide a mounting hole in the appropriate location to reuse all of the original 4 speed transfer case linkage. The 3 speed mechanical transfer case linkage will not be compatible with this bracket. With the bracket in position, install the threaded stud that was originally on the 4 speed transmission into the hole provided.
