For use with stock Asin AX5 5 speed transmissions. This transmission option was available from 1987-1996 and was mated to the stock 2.5L 4 cylinder engine. The Asin AX5 is considered a light duty transmission and is not best suited for V8 conversions. However we have had many requests over the years to manufacture this kit, and have had some success with this transmission surviving the increased power of stock V8 engines. Please note that this conversion package is only compatible with Chevy V8 or 4.3 V6 engines that are equipped or have the ability to be equipped with the 12.750" Chevrolet 153 tooth flywheel.
