The year and the model of your NV4500 transmission (GM or Dodge) will determine the shift handle assembly your transmission is equipped with. The early top covers used a retaining cap and spring assembly for the shift handle while the later versions used a 4 bolt assembly for the shifter. With these different shifter configurations to the top cover, the NV4500 changed the shift levers that connect to the top covers also. We offer new handle assemblies for both GM and Dodge shift top covers. The shift handles we offer are easy to install and, if necessary, easy to modify to fit your vehicle. We offer 3 shifter configurations to fit the different models manufactured.
