Description

TJ Rubicon, JK Jeeps &Power Wagons with a NP271 (Low Range Switch):

This kit is a quick in term fix for the Jeep TJ Rubicon’s, JK’s & Power Wagons. We are working with a firm that is designing a circuit board to that will provide all the same functions as the stock low range switch found in these vehicles. This in term kit only tells the computer system that the vehicle is in low ratio, disabling the ESP on JK’s and enabling the locker option on the TJ Rubicons & Power Wagons. If this kit is used, we highly recommend upgrading to the new switch when it becomes available.

I dispensed with the switch on the transfer case. I hooked up the electrics as directed but put a switch on my dash. I now can eliminate the ESP program and alter the throttle response in low or high range, front, rear, or 4 wheel drive.

Works great.

Still waiting for the circuit board.

The product works great and just as described. However I did not give it a 5 because it does not recognize 4wd hi nor does it recognize an alteration in the planetary hi low. However I must say this is a great solution for most of the time and I am glad I have it
