Description

 The 716122 is a custom pilot bushing for adapting some Ford V8 engines to transmissions with a .75” pilot tip. The bushing is supplied in several of our kits including our Ford to NV4500, NV3550 and AX15 transmissions. This pilot bushing is commonly offered in AA kits where an adapter plate is used in conjunction with a factory Ford bellhousing. The 716122 pilot bushing is frequently sought after for conversions where our shorter 716169 lacks the needed extended length.


The pilot bushing is sometimes purchased separately by customers attempting unique conversions where the OEM Ford factory pilot bushing cannot be used due to its smaller .67” pilot bore.
Advance Adapters designed this special pilot bushing to solve the issue. The pilot bushing is manufactured of a special bronze oilite material. It is essentially a bronze alloy material that has be penetrated will oil. The bushing essentially has “pores” where oil can permeate throughout the bushing keeping the bushing properly lubricated for the transmission input shaft.

Quality parts, service and delivery (Apr 19, 2011)

This is just a small part, but so far I have gotten an Atlas, Ranger overdrive and the NV4500 conversion and trans from you. Some other small stuff, but that eludes me right now. Fact is, every call to tech is met with quality answers and helpful staff. On my Ranger OD it was not a plug and play situation but tech services got me the parts to make it fit. Same with the NV4500. just fast, correct quality service. I can and will order from AA any chance I get. Thank you.
