NP231-SYE : New Process 231J Fixed Yoke Kit (50-7906 , 50-7907) (#NP231-SYE)

After installing this kit my, vibrations went away.
I had a hack-b-tap with cv shaft driveline. Was fine on first trip
But then developed roam vibration.
I purchased AA sye kit and installed in a breeze. Drove on
The hwy and was so happy my vibrations were gone.

Ordered my SYE, had it 4 days later and it went into the TC without any issue. The Jeep is not together yet, but I am sure once i use it Advance Adapters will live up to their hype. This will get me thru to next year year so I can upgrade to an Atlas next summer. Thanks!

I recently installed this kit with the 1350 cv yoke and wow is it big, very impressed with the quality and speed of the company. Also it was very easy to install, I finished in about half an hour without looking at the directions. Being that this is the first time I've taken apart a t-case means it's pretty straight forward

Precise engineering and top quality components! The instructions were clear, precise, and organized with plenty of pictures. Comes with all the lock-rings, seals, nuts-and-bolts that you would need! Took me 2 hours, start-to-finish, and this is only the 2nd time I've disassembled a transfer case. Love it!

It's nice to see a company that builds a product of this quality. I had installed 2 of rugged ridge slip yoke kits and both of them had out of round yokes and main shafts. Install my new SYE yesterday. It is a quality product all the way around. The instructions were easy to follow and very clear. Took me about 6 hours from pulling the jeep into the garage to test driving after the install. The Tom Wood's drive shaft was perfect and high quality as well. I received both the drive shaft and they SYE kit very promptly. I highly recommend this product.

I installed this product to increase driveshaft length and to help eliminate driveline vibrations. I gave myself a whole day to install it but only needed five hours including cleaning off the transfer case. As soon as I opened the box I knew that it was a quality product. This is the second time I have put a AA product on my vehicle, and was just as impressed.

Purchased an AA SYE from 4wd some time back along with several othe items my jeep needed. I have an 89 YJ so there were a few things I had to make sure and do during the instalation. One of the things was to make sure the shift fork rail was no longer than 1" from the face of the case when it was in 4LO. I made sure of this! When I cut it off It was 15/16 to 1" but no longer. 4WD was wotking great before this so no reason to question any of this. Put the jeep back together and the tranfercase will not shift. Pulled it out and put it back on the bench. Took the case completely apart and found nothing wrong. Put it back together piece by piece and checked the operation. It worked great untill I put the new tail shaft casing on. The shift rail hit the casing. I took the casing off and rechecked my shaft deminsion. 15/16" to 1". I checked the hole depth inside the casing - a little under 7/8". I cut the shaft off to 3/4" and with the tail casing in place it shifted just fine..
This cost me a lot of time. Be sure and check this before you seal it up.

I ordered a Hack N' Tap form of SYE to save some money after i bent my driveline and decided it was time to upgrade, but upon a closer inspection it was a bent output shaft, so knowing that this SYE had a stronger outputshaft, i purchased it. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow, the process was not hard just time consuming. I highly recommend this product, it is very well made and beefy. For cherokee owners you can use the stock front driveshaft in conjunction with this SYE, the Tom Woods is going to be stronger, but can be purchased later to cut the cost for a budjet minded person like myself.

Just put in a NP231 SYE in my 95 XJ. Having never taken apart a t-case before, i was surprised at how easy i was able to install your kit! All the pieces are sturdier than what was removed and i can wait till my drive shaft comes in so i cant take out my jeep and abuse it! Installed on my 2000 Cherokee XJ. I did not opt for the Tom Woods shaft instead I opted for a rebuilt late model XJ front shaft. The install was performed by my (trusted long time friend) mechanic, but he stated it was painless and took him a lot less time than he thought it would.

Completely removed all driveline vibrations, works flawlessly and in my honest opinion is a must for any lifted Jeep.

I broke my rear driveshaft in my Cherokee which caused me to order this kit along with a Tom Woods Driveshaft. My Cherokee is my daily driver so I needed this kit fast due to the fact that I was riding around in 4WD with just the front driveshaft. I have to say that the shipping was fast and I could not be happier with this product. It has one of the best sets of instructions you could ask for and installs very easily. I would recommend this product to anyone who values their rear driveshaft!

night and day difference with 4.5" of lift makes it a lot smoother ride with no driveline vibrations. the only problem i have is my e brake cable is actually coming into contact with my new driveline. extremely easy install keep up the good work AA

Inhereted a driveshaft vibration from the previous owner who had installed a transfer case lowering kit (big mistake). The slip yoke had worn out before he lowered the t-case, and the twisted linkage due to the lowering kit ate through the bushings. One day's worth of work, and it's like a brand new car. Don't use half-measures, do it the right way with this kit. You won't be disappointed.

Kit is fantastic! Paired with Currie Upper arms, my Jeep drives without vibes?!?! Amazing!! Beware though! I was expecting everything to come in one package, but they ship in seperate packages. So when you open that box up, dont be scared!

I was nervous having never torn into a gearbox of any type before, this went easy!! Instructions are good and everything fit the way it should, I just followed the intructions step by step and it worked. It is a bit of work so leave yourself some time and listen to everyone who says to get a good snap ring tool, it makes all the difference. Hey, if I can do it you can. And as always it was a pleasure purchasing from Advanced Adapters.

I have done several mod's to my Jeep and this was by far the best. It makes a lift complete. The install was easy to follow and it would have taken alot less time if I had purchased "lock ring pliers" and not snap ring pliers.

Orderd SYE for a NP 231 from ADVANCE and Wood's drive shaft for 04 TJ/LJ. Recieved everything sooner than I tought. At a price that could not be beat. I'm no mechanic by any meens, But I'm on a budget. So I pick up some assembaly lube and trany fluid and heavy duty snapring pliers Fallow the derections. By the end of a long day working by myself I'm bolting in the drive shaft and I'm ready for a test drive. Waited till the next day just so the gasket material had plenty of time to set. And went wheeling. Had to adjust my 4wheel drive shifter about a 1/4 inch. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and the kit was very complete

Ive never even had a transfer case apart before and this kit installed as easy as lookin at the photos in the literature that was sent with it. Installed while it was still in my jeep. All parts were well machined and went together so easy i thought i had mised something. tom woods shaft was a great combo to add. I have been on several trail runs since the install and never had a bolt back out or anything. great product, service, and timely shipment to my door! I will definitely be a return customer!

I ordered the stuff on a Monday, and recieved it all by Fri. That's a first for mail order for me. The parts were perfect. Also, a couple months ago , installed a Atlas 4 speed transfer case in my YJ. How did I ever wheel without one before? WHAT A BLAST !!!!!!!!

Had an ambitious agenda this weekend working on the jeep. Installing the SYE and Drive shaft were on the list. Install of the SYE was very easy and only took a few hours (having not done this before). Instructions were very good but be sure to take your time. End result was excellent, no more drive line vibration even after installing a 4"lift.

Just like the title says: I would have planned differently. I decided to go with a modified XJ cv-shaft when I did my AA sye, but rebuilding the XJ shaft (junk yard pull, cut, balanced, new ujoints, and new cv bearing) cost me a total of $225. I should have got this combo for $499 instead. The Tom Woods shaft is certainly heftier than the XJ shaft.

This is the best price that I have found on the net and the quality is top notch as well. I would deffinatly recomend this to anyone looking for a short shaft and drive shaft package.
