Jeep YJ Wrangler 1987-1996 Chevy V8 Conversion Packages
Option 1 (P/N YJ001 - Peugeot BA10/15 Package)	For use with stock Peugeot BA10/15 5 speed transmission. This transmission option was available from 1987-1989 and was always mated to the stock 4.2L inline 6 cylinder engine. The Peugeot BA10/15 is considered a very light duty transmission and should not be considered for conversions with high horse power or large tires. Please note that this conversion package is only compatible with Chevy V8 or 4.3 V6 engines that are equipped or have the ability to be equipped with the 12.750" Chevrolet 153 tooth flywheel. Option 2 (P/N YJ002 -Asin AX15 Package)	For use with stock Asin AX15 5 speed transmission. This transmission option was available from 1989-1996 and was mated to the stock 4.2L & 4.0L high output inline 6 cylinder engines. The Asin AX15 is considered a very good conversion worthy transmission with the ability to hold up against moderate horse power and tire size. Please note that this conversion package is only compatible with Chevy V8 or 4.3 V6 engines that are equipped or have the ability to be equipped with the 12.750" Chevrolet 153 tooth flywheel. Option 3 (P/N YJ003 -Asin AX5 Package)	For use with stock Asin AX5 5 speed transmission. This transmission option was available from 1987-1996 and was mated to the stock 2.5L 4 cylinder engine. The Asin AX5 is considered a light duty transmission and is not best suited for V8 conversions. However we have had many requests over the years to manufacture this kit, and have had some success with this transmission surviving the increased power of stock V8 engines. Please note that this conversion package is only compatible with Chevy V8 or 4.3 V6 engines that are equipped or have the ability to be equipped with the 12.750" Chevrolet 153 tooth flywheel.
