Advance Adapter
This bolt-in, saddle mount kit is designed for exclusive use in the 1987-95 Jeep YJ Wranglers. It is used to install a GM V8 and TH350 / 700R / 4L60 / 4L60E at the same time. This bolt-in engine kit is ideal only when using a GM auto up to the stock transfer case or an Atlas transfer case (left drop).
The bolt-in engine mount kit includes our bolt-in saddle mount, stock GM engine rubber mount / cushions, fastening hardware and engine mount instructions.
Note: The bolt-in engine mount saddle does not fit GM’s late model Gen III / LS-Series engines.
Note: It is not recommended to use this bolt-in engine mount saddle when attempting to retain the stock Jeep transmission (manual or automatic).
Note: It is not recommended to use this bolt-in engine mount saddle when using the GM 4.3 Litre V6. Due to the 4.3 being physically shorter than the V8, the 4.3 will sit to far forward of the firewall. Creating a not so ideal engine placement. We recommend using our weld-in engine mount kit when using the 4.3L V6.

Excellent product. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Could have made my own crossmember but for the price it was worth saving me the headache.

great product
this engin mount kit took all of 15 min to mount up. and i really like where it placed the engin very nicly with plenty of room to get to trans bolts, just all around very user friendly!!!

GM engine mount
Not mentioned in the product discription is that the engine is offset to the passenger side, this may cause drive shaft clearance issues if using chevy or dodge front axles.

WOW!
I got it in a the craftsmanship was awesome. I did the swap in a day everything bolted tight up and yes only minor mods on whole conversion. The only thing i wish is that i could run mechanical fuel pump but well worth the trade off for ease of install. Total install time pulling old motor, onstall new motor and tuning it to running condition 14 hours thanks advance.

Awesome Kit
Fedex delivered the v8 saddle mount less than a week after I ordered it. It was very easy to install. The saddle mount itself is built like a tank, not too sure about the motor mounts themselves though. Overall I am very pleased with this kit.

jeep v8 conversion
the best part about the entire swap is the a.a. crossmember. Nobody even cares about the motor. the build quality and ezz of installation is top notch,everyone just stares at the crossmember.

stock gm mounts suck
saddle mount is great no problem but this kit comes with stock gm mounts that are known for being very flimsy and as a result with moderate wheeling have broken them twice
will keep the saddle but upgrade the gm mount

I have not yet gotten to install my V8 saddle mounts yet. I have been very impressed so far with the quality built mounts. It appears more than heavy duty enough for the job though. After I have removed and installed my small block Chevy, I will definatley be back to comment about it.

great kit
great kit! Fits at least as good as the factory mounts and places the engine right where it should be. I would recommend this kit to anyone.
